Pence called the BRI a "constricting belt" and a "one-way road."

I don't doubt Pence is familiar with constricting belts. His wife probably uses one as his collar/leash whenever he dares to even glimpse at another woman. This guy declared himself as an evangelical Christian, and he "doesn’t attend events serving alcohol unless she [his wife] is with him as well."

Also, Pence should enroll in a macroeconomics course (perhaps at his BFF's alma mater Wharton?) since he evidently does not understand commerce or at least the circular flow. He's so accustomed to the mechanism of Western imperialism that he expects China to follow the West's footsteps and adopt an "all take, no give" strategy. He's unable to grasp the notion that China and other BRI members will mutually benefit from the project. Even if the metaphorical "road" were physically one-way, the "road" connects to the "belt", and together the trade routes form a circle. Okay, it's not an exact circle, but it is a circuit. Anything that travels one-way along the circuit will eventually return to its origin.
