So let me get this straight...this guy used all of the tools we already have to do something we already could have done. But we don’t do it because we haven’t figured out how we feel about it. You think it’s right to punish and shun a man and discredit his findings all because he did something morally and ethically in the gray area? But here’s the kicker...he created life...not destroyed it. Who’s to say he wouldn’t raise it as his own and give it a perfectly happy life?

But the biggest kicked of all...you’d still USE his DISCREDITED data? What? “Oh bad boy! That’s horrible for you to do! But give us the paper because we can learn from this. That’ll teach you for advancing science!”

Get your hearts off your sleeves. This guy was done waiting around because no one could align their feelings. You mention over and over again that this isn’t done with revolutionary equipment, as if it could’ve been done years ago. So why wasn’t it? I’m pretty sure this man deserves to be respected. He killed no one.
