Chipotle Mexican Grill will test robotic tortilla chip maker ‘Chippy’ in California restaurant

Lmao tell me you don't work in a real company without telling me.

Manual labor is easy as fuck to automate. The only reason why it hasn't been automated more is because A) not profitable short term (3-4 years) B) govt doesn't want it cuz jeRbS, dont want a bunch of low skilled unemployed bums.

But since low skill fucks are complaining so much and trying to unionize and want to get paid high wages for low skills, more and more companies will undoubtedly start automating sooner and quicker.

And I can't wait for low skill asshats to realize they had it pretty good until now :) Can't wait til they realize the reality of their situation.

Also, I can't think of any desk jobs at my company that could be automated.

Traders? We have AI algos that suggest trades, but we still need humans to tweak based on client wants/needs.

Client services and sales? That's irreplaceable because NONE of our clients want to talk to a machine. They want to be schmoozed and boozed. Going out and having fun is still a big part of business as much as antisocial Reddit nerds don't like it.

IT? Yeah, no.
