imo the Gambler’s Chest will impact the game a lot more; there are a bunch of new mechanics involved that will make your campaign much more dynamic, including the introduction of hunt encounters, scouts of death and philosophies. Along with that, you have the two Nemesis monsters included, additional gear and additional gameplay cards (disorders, fight8ng arts, gear, etc.), as well as a tooooonne of miniatures.

The expansions, on the other hand, will offer a lot more in the way of quarries. This is probably the main advantage over the chest (that, and they will be delivered almost a year earlier), as you’ll have access to so many more huntable monsters in your campaign.
