He’s listed on LinkedIn as a technical director. I know the source can be dodgy but I personally doubt the whole “he was just saying it show off!” line that’s being hauled out in regards to this, and it certainly wouldn’t wash as an excuse if the sides were reversed.

You’d take the chemical guy at face value if he said the orders to unsafely dispose of dangerous chemicals came directly from the top of the company though right. Nothing he says even overplays his authority and can easily be construed as him talking as being part of the collective of CNN.

In short, all the arguments accusing this of being fake are using the same old “attack the source” and “edited out of context” shit that people eat up. We know it to be true. A literal dude who works for the company says it’s true. No smoke without fire right.
