Christian SERIOUSLY considering converting to Islam

I'm an ex-Muslim who converted to Christianity: Don't do that my friend

If Christianity that dates back to 1st century isn't true religion, then Islam that came in 7th century definetly can't be true. You have to pray strictly in Arabic (which is more like imposing Arabic culture) and it's considered that if you don't pronounce everything right your prayer won't be taken seriously. There are so many rules and steps in preparing for prayer and later in prayer that if you don't do something right you'll have to do it again or you'll have to pray God to forgive you because you made a mistake. (For example you're not sure if you washed your hands three or two times when preparing for prayer). It's as what's in your heart doesn't matter if you didn't pronounce some Arabic word right or if you didn't do something exactly as it was supposed to had been done. Many Muslim people who are not Arabs don't even care if they pronounced everything right and most of them just learn by heart some prayers and they don't have no idea what they mean.

In Islam you have to pray for something that has never physically appeared to humans, not even to messengers while in Christianity God had already appeared to humans in form of Jesus.

In my opinion it more makes sense that we were all created in the image of God, that we are His children and that we have to worship the Father than that some supernatural being just created us without any reason why we look so.

So many things in Islam are basically just copy-paste of Christianity; Adam and Eve are Abdullah and Aminah or Jesus is Isa for example.

You wouldn't really find any particular relief in Allah. You will find relief only while praying in peace, but that's not because of Allah, but because of peaceful atmosphere conveyed while praying.

Also, many Muslims still follow the practise of circumcision which is very dumb.

It's up to you to decide, but I warmly recommend you not to convert because you won't gain anything from it. Islam is the most suitable for those who live live in the Middle East and to whom Arabic language is the first language.
