Christianity and Genocide/Mass Murder

War is never humane. You are right. But look at modern conventions of warfare and compare it to the blood thirsty savagery of the OT. Modern rules of engagement, whilst questionable, are far more humane than the outright plunder of the skirmishes documented in the OT.

I think you're being intellectually dishonest judging a Bronze Age civilization by your post enlightenment ideals. So you're an atheist arguing for universal morality?

You sure you don't believe in god??

Yes. When your religious texts order the murder of children because they are of a different race/religion, I will say "what about the children". The fact that you think such an argument is specious shows your support for backwards savagery dressed up as scripture.

Dishonest again. They were not killed because they are a different culture. They were killed because they waged war against Israel.

Speaking of children, what's your stance on abortion?
