PvE- Armour:berserker with scholar rune ,I've been theorizing commanders for raids( power precision toughness boon duration) with leadership runes. Weapons: sword-shield as main set with either greatsword or offhand focus as 2nd set. My sigil combos are force-air/force-accuracy / force night weapons. I use force accuracy if it's a reflect heavy fight such as Bloomhunger. Force night for night time fractals / content and force air for day time content / fractals. Utilities: Heal- Well of eternity Utility- Well of recall,well of action,mimic Elite- Timewarp Traits: illusion: compounding power, phantasmal haste, master of fragmentation Inspiration: medic's feedback, restorative illusions if no reflect,warden's feedback if reflects required, temporal enchanter Chronomancer: 3-3-3
For raids, switching out illusions for chaos for that extra boon duration. General comments: For me, I play a more offensive support chrono, as your personal dps is pretty bad compared to other people in your party. Shield is super strong for PvE, as it allows u to maintain a lot of alacrity, which significantly boosts the dps of Elementalist/ tempests, engineers and guardian /Dragonhunters in your party, all of whom have higher dps potential than you. The greatsword allows u to instantly summon 2 illusions/ phantasmal at the start of the fight, allowing you to switch to sword and cast 3 skill,which then u can use continuum split to maximize time allowed for skill cast b4 reset. I usually cast times for time> timewarp>mimic>well of recall>well of action>well of recall, then use all your shatters .u usually don't have enough time to cast shield 4 unless u quickly cancel cast it to summon an illusion without dejavu , as it still casts a phantasm. When the reset occurs, u then repeat the combo and u should end up with 2 echo of memory phantasm , which with the 20% reduction in phantasm skill cd, allows u to maintain a lot of alacrity. With the commanders set, u can maintain roughly 50% quickness up time, which is huge in raids and in group content.
