What this person is saying is not true. However, I will concede the downvotes clearly show public opinion agrees with them.

This woman’s claims of being a history student who has “worked with tribes in the past” is more suspect than mine.

The Chumash descendants have never told me, or put out a broad “nobody but us can look at these” statement. This person is gate-keeping, not them.

As far as having my contacts through school, and such - I do, where do they think I learned of the other site locations? I would have happily explained my credentials before they started trying to twist everything into some awful insensitive act.

They don’t care about other unrecorded sites being found and documented (my hopeful goal of this post), they’re only concern is trying to be morally superior.
