You seem like a reasonable person who had just become really irked with this story in particular, and given what you say your history its, it's understandable.

However, if you disagree with this story as a part of lets not meet, then you should tell the mods instead of being pendantic and telling everyone that you don't feel it belongs as though everyone should bow down to your whims. It's not very elegant. The mods in this community are very understanding, but if they think this story belongs then what you think is moot.

I have seen mods at both communities cross post stories between subs, I think sometimes there is a fine line for stories. For instance if I thought I was being followed by someone who said something weird to me I'd more likely post it in creepyencounters. If that person interacted with me in a frightening way I would post here. You know it's all a YMMV sort of thing.

Sometimes, with some things you just have to let it go. What good does getting in an argument with people over the internet do but make you feel bad. Why stew in negative energy like that? You are entitled to your opinion and everyone is entitled to agree.

I don't know if was the fact that you were drinking and redditing or maybe you're having a difficult time, but it seems that you're having difficulty taking responsibility for your mistakes (petty as they may be), arguing that the post was edited because you missed key elements in the story or getting mad at the community because the majority found what you said either offensive, creepy or just disagreeable. You say it's them not you. Well, Love I've noticed through my life that if something happens to me more than once or more than one people have the same view of me, that the problem likely isn't them, but me. Sloughing off blame and such on others is not the habit of a happy. successful person, please don't get into that habit.

I figure you're going to argue with me and that's fine, I'm good for it. I wouldn't have bothered to say anything to you about this if I didn't care about you as a human being and thought you were worth the effort.
