We have this thing about “who watches the watchers”. But rarely do I see or hear about people holding journalist to the same standards. Information needs just as much oversight as anything else. I thinks it time we start pressing the press as well. Accountability shouldn’t be limited to professions like Police. Why aren’t we also pressing journalists to follow up? To get answers. If the average person can think of these follow up questions why aren’t they? (I aware of the possible answers and that’s the point of asking the questions).

I’m waiting for a YouTube or a 60 minutes type show centered around interviewing those that interview and asking them the hard questions they refuse to ask and asking them why they don’t follow up either.

Sure some of those journalists are just low level people living in some crappy studio apartment trying to make ends meet like the rest of us. But we are suppose to be stranded together United.
