We all spread beliefs, in subconscious ways, that cannot be proven. Things that aren't even tangible. Things like cultural morality and social values. Many of them are totally arbitrary when viewed from a foreign lens. No one truly has a belief system that is based on objective, provable reality.

Secondly, your idea of how most religions operate is wrong. I've had the opportunity through my job to see religious services from several different religions. The majority arent sitting around saying "and then Noah built the arc and that's that. No more questions. Believe it or burn in hell". Most use their religion to connect to a higher purpose and to their humanity. Its chill. Its positive. The old school authoritiatan indoctrination, hardcore Baptist bible thumping is hard to find these days in Australia.
