Churches vs gay rallies

It shouldn't be about churches vs gay rallies (which is a short-sighted, generalized, irrational argument anyway), or this vs that, or whatever anyone-who-isn't-on-my-side-is-wrong bullshit.

It should be about realizing that we shouldn't needlessly subject and force our politics and our beliefs on our children, especially when they're not even old to form their own opinions on such complex issues, and especially not in such a public and political setting.

It should simultaneously be about providing unbiased, objective information, or at the very least the resources to such information. And furthermore, to encourage our children as well as each other to pursue knowledge while also questioning it until proven beyond reasonable doubt. And most importantly, to do all this so they may form their own opinions and beliefs when they're mature enough and have the appropriate, untainted knowledge to do so.

I realize that may be a difficult, near-impossible goal to attain, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't try.
