CIG vs Crytek court case: "NOTICE of Posting of Cashier's Check in Lieu of Surety Bond filed by Plaintiff Crytek GmbH. Deposit of funds, check no. 660001972, in the amount of $500,000 with the Clerk"

So you are saying it's a "hate sub" because they are calling the game a scam? I don't really care either way, but just by definition alone, CIG has certainly made a number of misleading statements on timelines and deliverables in exchange for pledges from backers. In many cases, many of those things are still not in the current release.

Now, whether those huge misses are related to incompetence on CIG's part, or if there was some intentional misleading on their part, or if they are just naive to how difficult many aspects of Star Citizen are... that's certainly up for discussion. No one really knows the true answer because all we have to go on is CIG's word, and a history of significantly misleading statements over the course of the past 8 years.

The fact is, it's impossible to know if it is actually a legitimate scam or not because no one but CIG has the answers that would either validate or rule out that claim.
