Cincinnati Bell keeps postponing the Fioptics install to my house

Unfortunately, I've learned the hard way that C-Bells customer service is atrocious. My installation was a nightmare and made me burn a vacation day for nothing. The service itself is pretty solid in my experience but when you do run into a problem and have to deal with them, then it seems like 90 people out of 100 are either fools or lying or both. I finally got so fed up with the phone reps I went in to the Northgate store and dealt with them where I could see the screen they were reading because nothing in my bill matched what it showed on the website.

What a surprise, when I can see what they are looking at it actually is cheaper to get rid of my cable and only have internet.

After I ditched the cable I hadn't used in almost 2 years I decided to downgrade from gigabit. I did that April 5th, so right at the beginning of the billing cycle. They can't adjust my bill 3 days into the cycle so they want me to pay for the full service and they will prorate next months bill. Ok. I got my new bill today and the prorated amount was actually a $17 upcharge! They made me pay for full gigabit service the entire month when I only had it for a couple days and then they added almost $20 to this months bill.

I've written them about it because I don't want to spend an hour on the phone with their incompetent staff. I spent almost 3 hours total trying to get rid of my cable. We'll see how much fun this is to resolve.
