Also, my 401k is down 12% YTD after being up 27% years end. Watching it go from just shy of $16k (I just started it last year) down to about $13.5k now has been hilarious, especially since my plan doesn't allow me to pull money out. If it did, I'd have pulled out back in January, paid tax on it all and basically come out with what I had put in and been okay with that. Instead, I'll lose 50% entirely eventually and be left with 75% of what I put in. And the rest will be in the account of some homo here, who is laughing about tendies now, but will lose it all to a server farm in a few months, at which point it'll be in some billionaires portfolio.
