Circumcision is not normal.

Follow up on my previous response. I actually referenced a paper from research done in Poland where a majority of men aren’t circumcised. They drew a really interesting correlation between a significantly lower occurrence of erectile dysfunction as compared to countries with high rates of infantile circumcision. Should be noted though that not being circumcised does have cons. There are higher levels of infection and even a correlation between higher incidences of penile cancer. I still agree it should not be done at birth and that it should be left to the autonomy of the individual. Thing there is that it’s a much more painful and dangerous procedure if done at a later age. It’s a very interesting issue, but I absolutely think religion should not be a part of it. Then again people have the right to believe in what they want, which I cant argue with. Quite an ethical dilemma indeed.
