Citizen here, a question about special forces and acrophobia.

I know it sounds dumb, but it happens in my country! Of course, it's more of a 'lite' version - you don't get to do what the pros do, but often times, conscripted troops decide they like the army and go on to become professionals. And since the only way to become an officer is through university, non-officers are more than welcome.

That's completely besides my point.

Only one State has Marines TM and they do not use conscripts. Many states have similar branches, but they also do not use conscripts for those.

Building a Marine is way to expensive to waste it on a part-timer.

And Rangers and their Selection is a whole different story all together. But they also don't use conscripts.

I don't know from country you are, but I can't imagine any would use a conscript in the form you described.

As for your fear... What works/worked for others does not work for you, and by the desperate sound of your post you do not have time enough to try every trick those crayon-destroyers could come up with. So stop wasting time and go see a doctor.
