City asks young people what would make them feel safer on CTrains

It’s crazy how some y’all are suggesting rehab and just the “removal of vagrants”. I’m sure the dude smoking crack on the bus could give a fuck if you’re going to call peace officers on him. And jail? What exactly does that solve lol we just locking people in cages for illnesses now? I for one, would be against my tax dollars paying for that. Real solution: maybe a better economy and a city to be proud of? Calgarys biggest flaw is it’s lack of pride. People have literally rolled eyes at me when I say I’m from here. This is my home and it’s crazy to see what it’s become. I love this city and everyone in it. We don’t have the crazy bad gang problems like other cities nor do we ever have any national headline worthy news. It’s a sweet quiet working city that’s just up to its next with stress and inflation. Hope YYC lives up to the dreams I dreamt of it, and I hope that my home is as welcoming to everyone as it has been to me for my life.
