I was going to be a hermit and stay home. Decided to take a bath with a bath bomb, had pandora playing and drank some wine. It was relaxing and nice. Then decided to text my friends that i'll meet them later at the bar we usually go to. I told myself i'd have a few beers and leave before midnight, because this guy that i met a couple days there before seemed like he was angling for a midnight kiss, and i wasn't feeling it from him.

I've been seeing someone occasionally for the last few months, he's not a big texter, kind of an old soul. Last text i sent him was two weeks ago. Deep down inside I was hoping to kiss him at midnight. Sometime after 10:30 he walks in with his two roommates and they sit at a table for a while. His roommates leave and he asks if he could join our table. Three of my friends were on molly. It was great spending new years eve surrounded by friends, having a great time. So me and this guy end up sitting next to each other and no text messages led up to this happening. We kissed at midnight and danced the night away. I brought him home with me and we spent all night and day being stupidly smitten together. I think this was one of the best new years eve/days I could ever ask for.
