Backstory: Ardana was born and raised on the planet shogun, to clan Dex, house Vizsla. He was orphaned shortly after the end of the clone wars, as his parents died as death watch during a purge by a rival house. A model citizen he never got into trouble, not that he never did anything wrong, he was simply never caught. Admitted to the Imperial academy at age 12 he served as an imperial cadet till age 19. During this time he was always in the top 10%, but never the best, almost too consistently scoring second or third. After graduation he went on to serve as an imperial combat driver for 2 years, before transitioning into a scout trooper. Due to his exceptional service he and several others from his unit including were selected for the storm Commando program. During his time as a storm commando he attained the rank of Sgt, he and his second in command master cpl "Ice" led a small squad of 8 troopers. His squad was aboard the First death star during the rebel attack, while prepping as a boarding party the death star was destroyed he and Ice survived the resulting blast. They were captured by a rebel salvage repair ship, and were subsequently tortured and interrogated. shortly after they were transfered to a rebel prison camp to do hard labor, during this time he and Ice "grew close", having only each other company to take solace in, they grieved for the 6 who didn't make it. A few months later they were liberated by Imperial troops, unfortunately during the conflict Ice was killed saving his from a blaster bolt. This had a big affect on his psychological well being, as he closed himself off to the world after this event. But that made him the perfect candidate for a special program, and so he served under governor adelhard of the Anoat sector as a purge trooper receiving a promotion to Warrant officer. He trained and commanded a platoon of purge troopers, and served for 4 years until "classified". After the events of "classified" he left the purge troopers, and due to his actions during operation "classified" he was demoted to the rank of cpl. Presently cpl Dex serves as an Imperial riot trooper.
