clarity on jungian individuation and the integration of anima and shadow

i'm 23

i'm only able to understand the entire process on an intuitive level. i don't think in words and don't know how to, it's all gut-feeling

i see integration of the shadow as possible through all different means, taking up a martial art and learning to channel anger which feels wrong could be a start

psychedelics like LSD and DMT are also another tool that i've used, except they come with risks, where you're deconstructing your ego during each dose and need to rebuild afterwards

DMT has taught me a lot about archetypes. there was this one experience showing an evil looking entity, flames surrounding it with a menacing look and i thought 'fuck off' at it but nothing changed, so i tried something else, accepting it, once i had accepted it, the entity changed into a lion

i took what i had seen to be something like a lesson that the darker side of your person is something you shouldn't run from but to form a kind of healthy relationship with instead

there's a yin/yang with your shadow, it having just as much positive as it does bad
