Hey, did you read the letter? It says that the letter represents the views of the people who endorsed the document. I think you skipped straight to generalizing with your emotions instead of understanding the purpose of the document - to elevate the voices of the people who wanted to display a certain perspective. You are certainly entitled and have the right to a different opinion. In fact, the person who wrote this letter responded below with another link to a document that supports the SGA’s opinion. No harm, no foul. I live in Charlotte as well, and I agree that there are risk, which is why the letter asked for the administration to be decisive.
