I agree this is a major issue on here. Where this fundamentally comes from though is that

1) 99.9% of us arent giong back and watching any All 22 film. And this is how you have to do things to actually know what you are talking about. Just casually watching games with buddies over beers on Sunday's wont actually do squat even if you think it does.

2) People often really are only well versed with their team or a select few teams. They cant speak about all 32 teams well. Hence what they end up listening to or hearing about other teams is thsoe fans perspectives. And fans on here especially are full of homerism. Nothing fans on here love doing more than making excuses for their own QBs. It's hilarious, fans will throw any part of their team under the bus from the coaching, to the O line etc just ot make themselves feel better about their QB.

So that's what creates what you talk about here. There arent many sources that you can truly go to in order to objectively evaluate players or teams. Amongst those who do......it's often amongst just fans who go in with a pre determined position not with the goal of being objective.
