CLG have been on a roll lately, an 8 game win streak. Today, they beat Mousespaz in a bo1, 16-9. Just last week they actually went up against luminosity(LG) in a bo1 and won 16-7, I did not expect them to win by that much as LG's roster looked very good. CLG also beat liquid in a bo2 and pretty much destroyed them by getting 16-1 on the first game and 16-10 on the second. CLG have been looking great lately and is probably the top team in NA, if not, im sure they're in the top 5. Also, they recently got rid of PTR which sucks but today, m0e will MOST LIKELY be playing. M0e will be an advantage for CLG as he is an amazing awper and has great communication, hes pretty much the reason AceG could get them selves together.
Luminosity/LG
LG have also been looking great lately. Their new roster seems really strong compared to their old one. They recently tied against Liquid in a bo2 which was actually very surprising, they almost lost. They beat paradox twice and they tied against c9 in a bo2. Today, Flom will not be playing, instead, an amazing player formerly in team Liquid, Naf-fly will play. This is an advantage for LG as I see naf-fly as a slightly better player than fl0m, he is clearly the more experienced one here. Also, PTR will be playing for LG as they recently included him in their roster. We still don't know why CLG decided to bench him but he is a great player and will play a big roll during this game.
Conclusion: Honestly, both these teams have a stand in, I'm not too sure if they are permanent which they most likely will be but either way, its an advantage for both teams. CLG recently beat LG which is why the odds favor CLG so much. I think CLG is the better team here and LG just haven't played enough together, they still need to practice a lot. However, depending on the maps, i think this will be a tie or 2-0 to CLG... Most likely a tie. I do see LG being able to take 1 map off of CLG but definitely not 2 unless they some how got A LOT better in the past few days.
MY ODDS: 60-40 CLG
MY BET: Honestly, I feel LG will not take 2 maps off CLG so I will go HIGH on CLG.
SCORE PREDICTION: 1-1 Tie. OR 2-0 CLG.
