Clients becoming more and more engaged..

I appreciate that insight! Tbh, 99% sure we work at the same firm.

Our financial planning counselors have specialized knowledge in all areas of financial planning for retirees but also some expertise in other stuff.

If you have a question about if we have knowledge in a certain subject, you can email ~financialplanning asking if we have experience in that area. It’s likely we do and even if we don’t, we can figure out the answer.

When it comes to money management, fee key points I’d hit on.

Sector allocation, growth v. value, country and company size can and will change later on. This isn’t something you can just stay long on and stay passive. Individual stock strategies are never meant to be static or follow a set model. As an active manager, we are active in all aspects of management (not just what is the best stocks but everything else).

Without a forward looking equity research team to back his strategy, his self-directed strategy will lag because his market exposure will not change when it’s supposed to.

At least 70% of returns are as a result of market exposure. Not exposed to the right markets at the right time means money out of his pocket.
