Climate Change Is This Generation’s Vietnam War - It's an existential threat to millennials—and older Americans are standing in the way of action.

One could say those charts are sort of cherry-picked, since global CO2 emissions are currently still increasing. I'm surprised I don't see the following sort of argument laid out in election policy laid out more often.. but really, I don't personally benefit from playing a game of chicken with this one (in regards to creeping up towards a 4 C increase). This is true for many mobile people who work white-collar jobs and are comfortable adapting to something/somewhere else and moving on to it if need be. I'd rather work against it more decidedly, on multiple fronts.. which in some cases, is actually not as disruptive as waiting for the economy to change (in which case individual people and local economies are forced into quick change with relatively little preparation). Even if the economy gets hurt somewhat, it could have an equalizing effect to allow young people without inheritance to have a better chance affording housing.
