Climate change is so obviously an excuse for socialist revolution and it's driving me crazy.

I studied Chemical Engineering. For those who are not aware, in this field, we had to study not the specific chemical formula and specific chemical reactions (you could choose to do so but then you would get in very niche branch, like pharmaceutical). What we studied in undergrad was the principles and patterns of physical behaviors in the context of energy exchange. At a high enough level, physics and chemistry means virtually the same thing.

I will not get too deeply into the details. A few major points I always raise as food for thoughts are as followed:

  1. Composition of atmospheric gases.
  2. Physical properties of gases (allegedly "green house") in strict relation to their atmospheric composition. These physical properties are true and real data of a sufficiently precise standard in reference to a very specific condition (usually at pressure of 1 atm -- at standard sea level) the planet Earth.

Among these data, chemical-specific properties such as heat capacity and radiation absorption spectra and absorption cap (per CO2 it is directly related to absorption spectra and it can be described as a logarithmic function).

All these data break down the narrative that CO2 is the major driver in atmospheric heat fluctuation.
