Climate report: Scientists politely urge 'act now, idiots'; It's the final call, say scientists, the most extensive warning yet on the risks of rising global temperatures.

It's nice you use the word 'believe' because it implies you've reached all these conclusions using faith and not facts.

There is no empirical evidence to support the hypothesis that climate change is man-made - that in the less than 1 century since personal vehicles have become easily accessible human beings have managed to irreversibly change the entire planet's climate in that single minuscule stretch of time.

The constantly cited "97% of scientists agree!" crap is misleading. Good science is also not based on consensus (in fact throughout all of history scientific consensus has been disproven by a minority).

No climate scientists know anything for sure. Some think climate change is primarily man-made. Others disagree. There is no empirical data either way.

If you'd used 'I know' it would be more consistent with someone who's reached those conclusions using the facts.

There is no "facts" to "know" either way.

Based on everything I've read, I do not subscribe to the HYPOTHESIS that climate change is man-made, as the climate has been changing towards this direction for a few thousand fucking years.

We are still, in fact, technically in an ice age.
