I am writing to you privately on behalf of the United Australia Party (Griffith electorate) in response to your social media post regarding real estate agents in the Brisbane area (link: https://www.reddit.com/r/brisbane/comments/aw3h6k/renting_and_my_roof_is_leaking_what_do_i_do/ehl0zx7).

I ask that you do not broadcast what I'm about to share with you as it is not yet public information. It is already known that the UAP will be running candidates for the federal election, but you may not know that we will also be undertaking a number of smaller projects to make immediate improvements to people's lives before the election.

Too many people in Brisbane are reporting the same problems with their real estate agents. I won't go into detail here but the numerous reviews and testimonies online about various agencies are distressing to say the least. We believe a lot more can be done to stop these issues from occurring - QCAT and the RTA can only resolve certain disputes, they can't stop all the dodgy agents in Brisbane.

We're not looking for donations (we are already funded). We are looking for people in the Brisbane area that: - Have had negative experiences with a real estate agent (as a tenant or an owner) - are willing to share the details of their experience with us - and, want to see this get sorted out sooner rather than later
