Is ClixSense actually worth an effort, or are people only recommending it to get referral links?

... I'm not really here to argue with you or convince you, so not sure why you're coming at me with such an argumentative tone. There's zero advantage to me personally if I convince you that the site it "worth it." I just presented my stats as someone who personally feels (purely my own opinion) that the site has been worth it for me.. note that I am defining "worth it" NOT as regular, steady income or the equivalent of a real job (which I have) but rather worth it in the beer money sense, as in some side cash that I can earn on flexible hours in the evenings while I watch tv, on the weekends or whatever.

Clicking the ads is obviously not worth it, no one thinks that it is. You click the ads in order to complete your daily checklist, which then nets you a 16% bonus on ALL of your earnings for the day. When you earn 6$ in a day, that 16% extra cash bonus gets pretty nice. It takes like 5 minutes to click the 6 ads required for checklist and the 20 required on clixgrid.. I just do it when I'm watching tv or reading news articles on my tablet, it barely requires paying attention.

Not sure how you're calculating the average pay for tasks.. but I generally don't work on stuff that pays 1-2 cents. Look for tasks at 5 cents or higher, surveys through crowdflower (usually level 3 though). All last week I was working on a task that was 52 cents a pop, for "are these pop music artists similar?" (it just required super brief research into their style of music). Tasks are not a one size fits all situation. Yes, different stuff is available in different countries, and yes you need level 3 to get the best tasks. There's no magic ticket to getting level 3.. you need to maintain good accuracy (which yes, can be hard to do with unfair tasks but they don't care) and gruel it out on the lower paying tasks until your accuracy is above 85%.. As for the time I spend on tasks it varies enormously. Some nights I might go on clixsense for half an hour and that's it, other times I might spend 3-4 hours tasking if there is something good.
