These people do not get it at all. Tuition was 898 per semester when he went to college. If he even had a job, which I doubt he did, he would have had to work 286 hours throughout the semester to pay for that semester. Let’s assume that the semester was 12 weeks. He could have worked 22 hours a week and covered that cost. Now, take those making 7.25 an hour. They would have to work 1,379 hours during the same 12 weeks to earn enough to cover the 10,000 dollar cost of tuition. That means they would have to work 114 hours a week AND go to school to cover the cost of the the semester. These people have no clue. The whole system is gamed against those wanting to move ahead. Designed to keep you in debt for the rest of your life so you have to work in a failed capitalist system. What a joke.
