I'm not even a Russboo but you've got some stuff wrong.

The Indians have pulled out of the program because of their dissatisfaction with the final product of the PAKFA program.

The Indians pulled out because Russia refused to share certain technical data necessary for 100% Indian/native licensed manufacture and then came out claiming that they weren't satisfied with the program.

Along with that the Russian's have only ordered 12 at most currently, with the reasoning that "It's so good we don't need to make it."

If you haven't noticed, Russia is pretty tight on money, in the process of modernization next generation aircraft and their navy are lower priorities than their ground forces, missile forces, ground based air defense/radar technologies, and cyber warfare capabilities. When the cuts come, they're going to cut things that are mostly concerning their non-defensive peer to peer capabilities since a conventional war between Russia and either the US, China, or Europe is extremely unlikely in their calculus.

They don't even have the engines for it because they lost so much engineering expertise so they have to use Su-27 engines. If that doesn't signal that this is a crappy failure, then nothing will.

They don't have modern engines for it because R&D costs money and since they're not even producing the things in numbers for at least another half decade, they're stretching that R&D money into other stuff which includes new engines "eventually".

Russia's in the position of any isolated country that can't rely on importing military or military related technologies.
