Thanks.
It is a Covering Letter for an education based company. They offer vocational courses that focus on developing practical/technical/employable skills.
I am applying for a job to work for them. When I was a student myself I studied a similar course through a different company but it was also vocational/technical/practical/employable. So I was on the receiving end of the lessons but hopefully this time I will be working for them.
The last sentence is very slightly tweaked now to say:
"I understand the value of [company name] courses, having completed similar vocational qualifications at college and university. The courses further developed my practical skills in communicating and working collaboratively as part of a team."
Do you think that is good/clear?
Lastly, I am in the UK and college and university are two different things. College is what comes after high school (what we call secondary school). You study at college for 2 years if you'd like (it's optional and is for people aged 16-18). Then once you complete college, you can choose to go to university which is typically 3 years but varies depending on the course.
