I don't think less of the so called "Walmart" fans. Good teams will have fans who didn't go to that school. Not everyone goes to a big sports school and they shouldn't be disallowed to support a school who is nationally competitive, especially if they're from the area.

That being said, having different fandom orders based on the sport? Yes, I do think less of that. I lived in Michigan for 18 years before going to UNC and could easily bandwagon their football team while UNC is constantly shit, but college sports are about supporting a university as a whole. Picking and choosing different ones when it suits you pretty much shits in the spirit of it IMO. I don't care if you root for two teams, but if you don't want shit for liking two teams don't change how much you support each school based on the sport.
