CMV: 3D printed guns poss no real threat the population

Isn't the whole argument over the fact that there isn't a law specifically about 3D printing guns.

there are two laws that protect them. 1) the 1st amendment which protects the data (already precedent for this with the anarchist cookbook), and 2) the 2nd amendment which protects arms.

The only reason it would be illegal is because of the Undetectable Gun Act

All plans include the inclusion of a metal piece, either for a firing pin or to strengthen the plastic. and criminals don't follow laws, so that doesn't really matter to them now.

3D are rare but as they become more common they will be used. If I get shot by someone who made a plastic gun at home I would be mad cause it would not have been possible if the plans weren't available. A wrongdoing stings more when its actual legal.

The plans have been downloaded millions of times already, also, like i mentioned above, the supreme court ruled you cant restrict it, they ruled the anarchist cookbook legal, even though there are plans on how to build bombs in that book.

It illegal to shoot someone with any type of gun... so how would adding 3d printed guns to the spectrum change that?
