CMV: I am a registered democrat set on voting for Trump.

I dont think anything was that different

Covid-19 has killed about 170,000 people in the U.S. and infected millions more. There are only three events in U.S. history that have killed more Americans: the Civil War, World War II, and the 1918 influenza pandemic.

Trump fired the national pandemic team set up by the Obama administration a few years back, and time and time again ignores the severity of the Coronavirus. The lack of national response is why other countries are basically starting to move to a post-Covid world, while we're still right in the middle of it, with it still getting worse 5+ months in!. And because of his poor response, Americans pretty much can't leave the country and go anywhere because our government is horribly mismanaging the biggest health crisis of the century.

I'll touch briefly on whats also going on right now, which is the willful destruction of the USPS. Trump admitted he is doing it to lower the number of mail in ballots, which according to all the polls will favor heavily against him and maybe cost him the presidency. Can you think of any other president who either attacked an enshrined institution like the USPS, or admitted to trying to rig his own election?

Honestly, I'm not sure how you can see how things aren't completely different under a Trump presidency than any other in a lifetime.
