My girlfriend is 5"2, she is an electrical engineer, but please look into either RHCSA/RHCE or CCNENT/CCNA certifications. The biggest things you would have to push in either case is a switch or a laptop. Both of these options can be done from home, by buying a book, and following online tutorials. You would have to pay for the exam of each certification which typically goes for 100$ - 200$ each.

RHCSA/RHCE - Red hat certified engineer: Not a certified engineer, it takes 2 classes to be a unix/linux systems administrator. A unix administrator typically deals with permissions and rights for people in a network. How long this takes depends entirely to you. It took me a year to do both exams, while having a full time job and part time school, unrelated to this. Average Salary: 90,000$ http://resources.infosecinstitute.com/rhce-salary/

This is a bit more physical, as you'd have to sometimes carry the things in the picture above. Most of the time, you'd connect a laptop to one of these things above and help people have internet access or control their permissions. Network Administrator 114 salaries C$39,333 - C$82,930 (May be less than the first one, but it's a more in demand certification) http://www.payscale.com/research/CA/Certification=Cisco_Certified_Network_Associate_%28CCNA%29/Salary Demand for these fields is high, salary is typically
