Great insights man. I am non-white and non black, but I have african american friends as well as black african friends, and they are perfectly nice people. But I have noticed that individuals and group behaviors are different things.

To me, it is particularly obvious in the african american community, is that it lacks real leadership and group cohesiveness. There are leaders, but they don't accomplish much. There are just too many people in the african american community that are plain are unable to follow the will of their leaders. There is anger, there is the motivation, but the leaders are unable to mobilize the group to do anything other than acting out violently in a rather uncivilized manner. Look at any other ethnic group in the world that had genocide committed on them by others or have faced economic/natural disasters in the recent history. They can come to america as a group and do perfectly fine. This is not individual behavior I am talking about, but rather population level behavior.

Population level behavior takes a very long time to change, and often through blood and sweat.

I would like to leave you with an anectote from my father, who is from china. He told me of a beating that took place in his middle school that left a kid paralyzed. This guy was a son of a powerful business owner, but he was a big time bully, beating people up, and harrassing girls. One day, the popular and studious class leader, was fed up and organized his fellow classmates. They asked one of the pretty girls to lure this bully into a classroom after school. All the teachers were gone. All the windows were plastered with newspapers. They proceeded to beat the kid to a pulp. He ended up paralyzed and the bully's dad was of course angry and wanted revenge. He went to the police, but no one talked, and no one helped him. This is mob justice, where the studious/well adjusted popular class leader took action and acted like a savage. But the end result is that thuggish behavior was punished and order was re-established. I am not saying this is what we need to do, but just to give you a glance at what chinese people in one tiny village of china does to handle uncivilized bullies. Personally can't imagine this happening in the african american community, but maybe it should. The thugs/deadbeats need to be straighted up one way or another. Right now, it seems like the mostly white police force is the one doing the job, occasionally killing an innocent kid, but that is because there is a disproportionately high number of thug type guys in the african american community. Unless the community deals with these people swiftly, expect white people and everyone else in the world to look upon the community as plain thugs.
