*First time on this sub Reddit my apologies for not being more specific. Yes everyone is guilty of this and not everyone is the same. I do not speak for moderates, because while centrist or in the middle there are issues where I agree on both sides. I chose not to be part of either because of the perceived extremes most people think which helps me to remain neutral within my social life. * While that may be partially the case I've seen people like Yvonne Felarca, Anita Sarkesian, and Henry kissinger as an example use psychological techniques were they get the most vulnerable people in society or the most influenced by actions and get close to them and manipulate them for things that they want. Similar to psychopaths they constantly look at another person condition and notice how that person reacts when they speak about different subjects and topics. They are looking to find which is the one which makes them show a certain kind of emotional reaction . They are looking for the 2–3 weak spots of that person, the things which make them "tick". Then they will make up some sentence or claim incorporating these particular subjects in a strange, unnoticed, non-obvious way. As an example If you are a person with extreme depression due to the fact that your a minority and comes from a "less privileged" background and don't think you'll amount to anything. The psychopath notices and slowly tries to befriend you. Once they are close they may then make a sentence about how a its not their fault, but rather that of the system or something across those lines and rather than improve them as an individual they make them see that its the fault of an enemy that they perceive. In reality the psychopath is gaining something the victim is non the wiser * To further expand I'm in the middle, but that does not mean that I think that both sides are wrong or that I'm right because so and so. I've had some conversations with both sides on why they think so on abortion or why they voted for Trump or Hillary because I can get perspectives and then research on the topic where I can make a choice to where I stand. * I should have expanded upon this. They are part of it, but I'm referring more towards the manipulators who gain from the division like people like Henry Kissinger and Anita Sarkeesian. *Never claimed that I was 100% right on everything or that everyone idea was wrong. I'm more referring to the people who benefit more from keeping America divided.
