CMV: Christian bakers should not be allowed to refuse services to gay couples.

I would say this is confusing two arguments.

First, speech in a commercial setting. Second, protected classes. Should they exist and what should they be.

I will start with the KKK argument. No, they should not be forced to make this cake. Because it is required that the Baker make a statement on it's product. If it was just a plain cake I would say they need to make the cake. You can't make custom product designers make specific statements. A custom bumper sticker or t-shirt company that does custom shirts should not have to print a lynched Obama on it.

Now the other argument, should these companies be required to sell normal items to different groups? Can a small town grocery store refuse to sell to all black people? Homosexuals? Jews? Christians? Or, on the market side can they differentiate price between these groups? If your the only shop in town selling to black people can you charge different races different prices?

You can also fight that sexuality shouldn't be protected. Which kind of depends on how you sexuality but in general I don't think services should be denied based on it.

Tldr - I agree that the Baker doesn't have to make a cake with two men having sex. But, a normal cake with out a statement should be sold.
