Well it depends in what you want. Being eco friendly or be comfortable. Public tramsport is a pain in the butt. Except in cities, it takes you forever to get anywhere, you can‘t take stuff with you and you‘re bound to service times. In short, Public transportation means less independence.

Going by bike, you‘re sweaty everywhere you go, it takes long, it‘s not doable for handycapped people, it‘s exhausting, you can‘t transport stuff, etc. again less independence.

Consumption of meat: for many people no meat would mean a lack Of life quality. Also meat has good amino acids and vitamins which are hard to replace.

AC: You ever tried to work when it was 35 degree Celcius? Many people can‘t handle heat very well, so again lack of life quality.

So in short: Most eco measures come with a lack of life quality and decrease recreational possibilities which in turn will decrease economic activity because people tend to be less healthy. And Most measures come with laws which limit individual freedom which shouldn‘t be acceptable. Also steering taxes reduce economic efficiency because much of it is lost due to admistrative burdens.
