CMV: Cultural Appropriation isn't wrong

I want to preface this with saying that I'm a liberal and I want to know I'm wrong. Anyways, I just think it's unfair for people to get mad about other people liking their culture. I understand why some might feel that those who adopt specific aspects might not fully appreciate the culture behind it, but cmon. People like your culture so much that they are willing to make it apart of themselves. Why get mad over people respectfully adopting that? If it's not respectful, I get why someone would be upset, but most have the best intentions. Idk I hate how cultural appropriation has become this horrible thing when it's really (for the most part) just people expressing how much they like a certain culture. Isn't it just the road to a more accepting society?
