I don’t think so. Vaccines are valuable on a large scale and contribute to the herd immunity that I benefit from. This is why I’m not anti-vax. If everyone stopped vaccinating, it would probably effect a net negative result. If I personally don’t vaccinate, as a result of this widespread vaccination, I’m individually at a very low risk of getting these diseases that have now been made uncommon. Similarly, there’s a low risk that I might get brain damage or die from taking a vaccine that might ultimately not entirely be necessary for me(on an individual level, not for the human race). Until I can sort of accurately compare the two risks’ probabilities, I feel uncomfortable making a decision
