CMV: A gender dysphoria diagnosis should be required for all legal recognition and medical intervention as transgender, non-binary, etc.

And the fear that the government will simply ban medical professionals from diagnosing and treating gender dysphoric adults

I would have thought that before they did such a tremendous job at eliminating reproductive rights.

There are several states where it is difficult to get a doctor to say that I am in medical need of an abortion in order to get what would be a life-saving procedure. Therefore it seems to me that in those regions, I could also easily fail at getting a doctor to say I have gender dysphoria in order to get gender affirming care.

Maybe I'm cynical, but it seems easy to imagine living in some part of Texas and not being able to use the bathroom of my choice because not a single doctor in 100 miles would say I need to.
