CMV: Gender parity in hiring practices is inherently unfair to both genders

Women dominate the field of education. Because they are better teachers than men. They are better at empathizing than men, which is critical for being a good teacher. Being a teacher is similar in a lot of ways to being a caretaker, something that women are naturally better at than men as well.

But if a school felt obligated to hire more men due to this socially contrived notion that any gender disparity == oppression, the school would be forced to diminish the quality of its teachingforce which would negatively impact the quality of education these children receive.

The same logic can be applied to other jobs / fields. Is diversity good? Ofc, but forcing 50/50 outcomes is arbitrary and damaging to everyone.
