CMV: If Donald Trump wins, Democrats have nobody to blame but themselves.

The tech industry is made up mostly of white and Asian males. Some argue there's explicit racism, others that it's subconscious, and yet many suggest perhaps it's a cultural thing. Some races are drawn to tech more than others, just like (from your statement) hockey and basketball.

Which is a discussion that is had at university. The conclusion that they come to is that there are several reasons African Americans are under represented. First is that low income families do not have as much access to technology thus it is hard to get them interested. Second they don't have access to the same resources as Asian and white families do in terms of education. Third, because they aren't well represented they don't feel comfortable and are placed in an out group. Lastly, it is a cultural issue.

The last factor is largely due to the first three. However, all of them are a result of racism. So to assert that Africans are represented because they choose to be under represented is both partially true and absurdly useless. It seeks to place the blame on the race as a whole and even seems to assert them as inferior in some manner. The fact is that it is a result of the way races are divided in this country and to break up that division is to rectify racism.
