CMV: If a man has sex with another man for monetary value but isn’t attracted to the man and still attracted to women, he’s still straight.

This line of reasoning always irritates me, as if straight people can’t know for sure that they’re straight until they’ve tried having sex with every person of the same gender and confirmed that they don’t like it lol. I hear it from trans people a lot as well.

Not trying to attack you personally (I don’t even know if this applies) and I also recognize that this is a bit removed from original post, but I have to point it out: If YOU are bisexual, then you don’t know what it’s like to be heterosexual. You’re projecting. I think that argument is normally made the other way around to defend gay/bi/trans people, but I’ve noticed that gay/bisexual/trans people rarely afford the same logic to straight people.

If someone tells you they’re straight you have no reason to assume they might not be. (Obviously this specific post is a bit more loaded, I’m speaking more generally)
