CMV: Joe Biden is a better president than Barack Obama

Obama's foreign policy was, unfortunately, a continuation of Bush's foreign policy — not in degree, but in kind. Obama prolonged/expanded the war in Afghanistan by implementing a surge, created a no-fly zone over Libya (look how that turned out), and armed Syrian rebels. In the same way that Bush failed to confront Russia over its annexation of Georgian territories in 2008, Obama didn't do nearly enough after Russia annexed Crimea in 2014. In a 2012 debate with Romney, Obama mocked him for taking a hard stance on Russia, and that point has since aged like milk. Although, I do support the JCPOA, so I'll give Obama credit for that.

Biden was part of that horrible (in regards to foreign policy) administration that only really woke up to Russian threat in 2016 on election night ever since then everything gets blamed on the Russians. Hell i constantly see people claiming that somehow BJ as PM was a Russian agent sowing discord among Europeans when UK was the nation doing heavy lifting out of western NATO prior to feb24th.

RESET and following years even after 2014 have been incredibly soft on Russia and USA is incredibly lucky that Ukrainians are willing to pay incredible price of blood for their freedom and are helped by US UK and East Europeans even prior to the war.

Obama and Biden admin has left east Europe out to dry while they focused on photo ops with Merkel and ignoring how Germany has been building NS2 pipeline and pushed for lifting sanctions or even avoided arms sanctions like the French. Misguided foreign policy that somehow Paris and Berlin speak for everyone under a label of "our European allies".Lethal weapons were not delivered into Ukraine until 2018 as Obama administration deemed that too great of an escalation luckily for everyone that changed. There is a reasonable case that chaos of AQ in 21 has solidified Russian perspective on "weak west" unable to act quickly and has caused Russians to reignite the war after 7 years break since 2015 where "european allies" like Germany and France have pushed humiliating Minsk agreement on Ukraine just to get back to business as usual with Moscow.

USA inflation is lower because both FED has a room for action without bankrupting half the continent like ECB and war disruption to US economy really is marginal compared to gigantic economical pain caused in Europe you can see that when looking at inflation rates that rise west to east across the continent basically regardless of individual national economic situation and policies due to a supply shock.
