CMV: "Men are trash" is a horrible statement to make to inspire a change in attitude and culture. If the objective if to reach equality, an obscure phrase that non "woke" men can't easily understand does more harm than good for the cause.

I'm claiming that the direction of discourse has been guided, to a meaningful extent, by the Russian government. My initial post was a little... fluffy, but I subsequently gave a NY times link substantiating this claim.

Russia isn't concerned with the values of for the left or the right; it wants to destabilize us, period.

You may call this a conspiracy, but it is a fact that we are in a second cold war with Russia, and it is a fact that this second cold war is largely characterized by cyber warfare. If Russian trolls aren't posting offputing feminist tweets, then they're posting offputing antifeminist, and in all likelyhood, they're doing both.

You have to remember, Putin is a feisty SOB whose loyalty lies in the USSR. He's super smart, and he's got a personal vendetta against the US. Both Obama and W Bush (and probable Clinton too) , placed Russia as the number 1 threat to national security today. They fucking annexed Crimea!! Who does that!?!?!?!? The Russians. That's who.
